SEO (search engine optimisation) is important in your marketing mix – it’s the work behind how you get found online when people are searching and researching. And with the many changes that Google are always making with the goal of providing the most relevant search engine results pages (SERPs) you want to make sure your marketing department are looking after that.
As a result of Google’s tweaks to their algorithm, (see the infographic below that HubSpot have put together. Amazing.) what used to be important in SEO to make sure your digital presence was visible, is sometimes no longer the case. It’s either not relevant anymore, or less important than it used to be when calculating where you will rank.
